Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of agentskillsfinder.com and related services provided by Agent Skills Finder ("we", "us", or "our").

By using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What The Service Is

Agent Skills Finder is a public directory and discovery product for agent skills. It helps users browse, evaluate, save, organize, review, and submit skills.

The service may include:

  • public browsing, search, category, tag, and detail pages
  • user accounts and sign-in
  • favorites
  • private and public collections
  • skill submission workflows
  • ratings, comments, and moderation workflows

We may add, change, suspend, remove, or limit any part of the service at any time.

Accounts and Eligibility

You may need an account to use some features, including favorites, collections, submissions, and reviews.

If you create or use an account, you agree to:

  • provide accurate and current information
  • keep your credentials and access methods secure
  • accept responsibility for activity under your account
  • notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization

Core Risk Warning About Skills Listed On The Site

This is a core term of using Agent Skills Finder:

The skills listed, indexed, linked, recommended, submitted, or organized on this site are largely sourced from GitHub repositories and other open-source skill contributions created by third parties.

Those skills are not written, audited, certified, guaranteed, or continuously monitored by Agent Skills Finder. We cannot promise that any listed skill is safe, secure, reliable, lawful, maintained, non-malicious, or fit for your use case.

Some skills may contain insecure prompts, unsafe automation, destructive scripts, credential access, data exfiltration risks, license problems, hidden dependencies, or other behavior that could harm your machine, codebase, accounts, data, or business.

You are solely responsible for reviewing and evaluating every skill before you install it, import it, run it, connect it to accounts, or use it in any workflow.

At a minimum, you should perform your own review of:

  • the repository and maintainer
  • the SKILL.md instructions and referenced commands
  • the file tree and any executable scripts
  • requested permissions, secrets, tokens, or external integrations
  • the license and any legal or compliance impact

If you do not have the ability to assess a skill's safety yourself, do not use it.

No Endorsement

A skill appearing on the site does not mean we endorse it or guarantee it.

The following do not create any warranty, certification, or endorsement:

  • inclusion in the directory
  • search ranking
  • category placement
  • favorites count
  • ratings or reviews
  • public collection inclusion
  • editorial copy, summaries, or generated descriptions

These signals are meant to help discovery. They are not a substitute for your own technical, legal, and security review.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Agent Skills Finder lawfully and in a way that does not harm the service, other users, or third parties.

You must not:

  • attempt unauthorized access to the site, data, systems, or accounts
  • interfere with security, availability, or normal site operation
  • scrape, mirror, or republish site content at unreasonable scale without permission
  • submit unlawful, malicious, deceptive, or infringing content
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • abuse favorites, collections, ratings, reviews, or submission workflows

  • submit fake documents, academic-cheating services, drug-test evasion tools, deceptive financial claims, or other material that enables dishonest behavior
  • submit sexual exploitation, child endangerment, hateful or threatening content, graphic violence, illegal weapons or drugs, gambling offers, or other content prohibited or restricted by applicable publisher policies

User Content and Contributions

If you submit a GitHub URL, create a collection, publish a review, or otherwise contribute content, you remain responsible for what you provide.

You represent that:

  • you have the right to submit or publish the content
  • your content does not violate law or third-party rights
  • your content is not intentionally false, misleading, malicious, or unlawful

Public collections and skill submissions may remain pending until they have been reviewed. Reviews and comments may be published immediately for product operation, but they remain subject to moderation, reporting, removal, and account enforcement.

We may review, moderate, reject, remove, restrict, unpublish, or require changes to any contribution at our discretion. We may separately classify public content as eligible, restricted, blocked, or not yet reviewed for advertising. Publication in the directory does not guarantee advertising eligibility.

Defensive security research may be permitted when its purpose, instructions, and surrounding context are genuinely protective. Content that primarily enables unauthorized access, malware deployment, credential theft, evasion, or harm is prohibited even if it is described as research.

Collections, Reviews, and Submissions

Favorites, collections, reviews, and submissions are provided as product features, not as guaranteed storage or publishing rights.

We do not guarantee that:

  • any submitted skill will be approved or published
  • any public collection will remain published
  • any review will remain visible permanently
  • any favorite, score, comment, or ranking signal will remain unchanged

We may change moderation standards, ranking logic, taxonomy, display rules, or feature behavior as the product evolves.

Third-Party Content and Links

The service links to third-party repositories, websites, documents, and software, especially on GitHub.

We do not own or control those external resources and do not guarantee their accuracy, availability, legality, quality, safety, or security. Your use of those third-party resources is entirely at your own risk and is governed by the terms and policies of those third parties.

Privacy

Your use of the service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

Because the site includes login, favorites, collections, submissions, and reviews, you understand that we need to process account and activity data to operate those features. If you make content public, such as a public collection or a review, that content may be visible to other users.

Intellectual Property

The Agent Skills Finder website, brand assets, original site copy, site layout, and directory presentation are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable law.

Third-party repository names, logos, trademarks, code, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

Disclaimers

Agent Skills Finder is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, title, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability.

We do not guarantee that:

  • directory entries are complete, current, accurate, or suitable
  • listed or linked skills are safe or appropriate for your environment
  • any workflow, review, or collection will produce the result you expect

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Agent Skills Finder and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, software, credentials, systems, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the service or any third-party skill or repository discovered through the service.

This limitation applies even if we were advised that such damages were possible.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Agent Skills Finder and its operators from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:
